Déjà 60 ans de carrière et la légende la musique ghanéenne est de retour à son meilleur niveau avec ce nouvel album studio intitulé Yen Ara. Le compositeur-guitariste-chanteur est un des personnages clé de l'évolution du son afro-funk depuis les années 70's aux côtés de Fela Kuti, Apagya Show Band ou encore Pat Thomas. Ce nouvel album navigue entre afrobeat pleine d'énergie, highlife nigérian, jazz et konkoma qui ont fait le succès d'Ebo Taylor. Toutefois, sur cet opus, on découvre avec plaisir une production très percussive voire parfois disco, initiée par le producteur Justin Adams (Tinariwen, Rachid Taha, Robert Plant) qui a accompagné Ebo Taylor lors de l'enregistrement au studio Electric Monkey d'Amsterdam.
