Joining Plaine Comune libraries give you access to a platform called Médi@TIC. It is an online tool full of electronic resources, to have fun and to learn about multiple subjects, such as French and foreign languages.
How does it work?
When you register in the libraries network, you are given a user identification. Please use it to login on the Médi@TIC. Movies, news, learning methods and music are available on this website, for adults and children. Workshops are organized in your libraries to learn how to use the Médi@TIC, if you need help.
Cinema
Watch up to 3 movies per month, among a selection of novelties. Enjoy classics and short movies, discover documentaries, with no limitation in time.
Music
Webradios, playlists and more are available on the Médi@TIC, in the music space.
News
You are given access to daily newspapers, magazines. You can read up to five documents per month.
Knowledge
- Languages: learn among 30 languages, including French with the learning method “Français langues étrangères” (FLE). Workshops are organized in libraries to teach you how to use these methods. Please ask a librarian for further information.
- Educational resources: find exam annals and dictionaries from the “CE2” (3rd grade class) to the “terminale” (12th grade class).
- Highway code
- Computer training
- Conferences and debates about various subjects, such as economy, art, literature or sciences
A space for children
A part of the Médi@TIC is dedicated to children. It offers them a selection of games and movies, music, and introduction to foreign languages.
